Savory Cinnamon nutmeg spice blend is a perfect compliment to meat, especially ground chicken or turkey. I found it on a website while I was in the middle of a deep dive, you know, the kind where you just keep clicking a link under the "People Search for..." at the bottom of the page, or maybe it was a website beside the AI Overview.
I would love to give credit to the person who either inspired me or created it, but when I went back to find it, It wasn't in my history. No matter what I did, I couldn't find it. I was so thankful that I had written it down because it was so perfect for the recipe I was working on at the time. I actually don't think it is exactly as I found it, I think I left out brown sugar, but again, since I never was able to find it again, I can't be sure.
What I am sure of is it goes great with ground chicken, turkey, or pork, especially if you are having them with fruit. The main thing I have used it in my my Baked Cranberry Chicken Sausage Patties, which is the recipe the prompted the search. I can image it with apple or pear as well, in a compote to compliment meat.
In the meantime, if you are looking for a change for your chicken or turkey, give this a try.
